Driving is the oldest competitive equestrian sport. In 2009, there were 173 Driving and 2 Para-Equestrian Driving International events held around the world (for more statistics, check out the FEI Annual Report. Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™
The FEI World Equestrian Games™ are held every four years in the even years between the Olympic Games. This year, the Games will be crossing the Atlantic for the very first time, to be held in Kentucky (USA) from 25 September – 10 October 2010. For more information, click here.

FEI World Cup™ Driving
Created in 2001, the FEI World Cup™ Driving series tests the determination and skill of the best drivers in the world. The 2009/2010 season will see seven qualifiers lead towards the FEI World Cup™ Driving Final, to be held in Geneva alongside the Rolex FEI World Cup Jumping from 14-18 April 2010 in Geneva, Switzerland. Top Driver Awards (TDA) & North American Challenge (NAC) 
Both the Top Driver Award and the North American Challenge are, in effect Driving Standings based upon results achieved in FEI competitions. The Top Driver Award is based on results from all CAI-A events and CAIOs to achieve placings or standings. Points are awarded to drivers based upon their final classification at the event linked to the number of drivers taking part. For more information on the Top Driver Award, visit the dedicated page.
